Amazing video by rpgamer2003 (sorry I couldn’t actually find out their name) seen in a typography post over at AETuts. I love the way this video is shot, scored, and the overlay of information is fantastic. Great stuff. To see more like this on vimeo click here!
Skateboard Animation
Really nicely done stop-motion video about skateboarding by Tilles Singer. Must have been painstaking to cut out all those images and then to place them all in the right spot. I always love looking at stop-motion because of it’s versaitiliy. Theres the tediousness and perfection it takes to do it perfectly and also a more hand done imperfect style that you can use. Either way this one is well done and a pleasure to look at!

Tuplip Fields

No CG here. All images are aerial photos of tulip fields in The Netherlands. There are so many colors to pick from and with the weather being so nice in New York this weekend it’s really getting me in the mood for spring. I’m also thinking of how fresh and bright and cheerful all these colors together look. Would be really nice to pick color palettes from these!

Nando Costa
Nando Costa updated his reel with some really great work. I’ve always really liked his work. Always a little dark and quirky as well as being phenomenally executed his reel and archive of work definitely show that off.

Danny Espinoza

I’m really digging these illustrations by Danny Espinoza. I like the precision and the color choices a whole lot. They seem to have a bit of an architectural feel to them. There are many more great pieces on his flickr (new website coming soon he says) including some less precise, more hand done and equally awesome drawings.
Carl Kleiner

These are some really great photographs by Carl Kleiner. Clicking through his site, it was hard to pick favorites. He’s a very talented guy who has a really diverse style. You can really tell that he is full of wonderful and creative ideas.

The Sandpit
The Sandpit is a great tilt-shift video. I thought that I had grown tired of them after seeing them pop up all over the place starting about this time last year but for some reason I really, really like this one. Maybe it’s my recent move to New York. Maybe it’s the child-like obsession of seeing buildings being made. I dunno. But whatever it is I really think this one is solid. So watch it!

Goodby for HP

These are some very well executed ads for Hewlett Packard by Goodby, Silverstein, and Partners. While they may look like cut paper they’re actually 3D. The illustrations were done by Ryan Meis and the 3D was done by Electric Art.
